2021 Ag Expo Career Fair

Greetings from Montana FFA Foundation!

Over 1,500 FFA jackets will flood the Montana State University campus at the 10th Annual Montana FFA Ag Expo in Bozeman on November 11-13, 2021. The Career Fair will be hosted on Friday, November 12. The Ag Expo is sponsored by Montana John Deere dealers: Frontline Ag Solutions, C&B Operations, & RDO Equipment Co.

These members will gather from across the state to participate in the Montana FFA Ag Expo. It is the Foundation's pleasure to extend our cordial invitation to you and your organization to join us for the Ag Expo's Career Fair. Each year, the Ag Expo brings together agricultural students from over 100 communities in Montana. The three-day event will feature outstanding speakers, daily workshops, several student competitive events, and the Career Fair. Montana FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. We believe that through your participation and partnership with FFA, you too can help to make a positive difference in the lives of students.

For companies, the Career Fair is a great tool to market your business, especially if you are looking to hire/recruit FFA members into your organization. Colleges, Universities, Training Programs, and other organizations benefit as FFA members are all approaching graduation and want to further their education, enter the workforce, or look for their next leadership opportunity. We encourage you to make your display as interactive as possible to engage the students actively. We are more than happy to help you come up with ideas - here are a few suggestions to utilize at your own discretion:

• Competitive and interactive games such as trivia, coloring contests, darts, or other engaging activities at your booth are a great way to engage with the students! Students love a good competition, and it is a great way to start a conversation regarding what you do.

• Recruit! If you have job openings, internships, or scholarship opportunities, please let the students know! This is a great way to market your company or college to students who are welcome to opportunities.

The Career Fair starts at 9:00 am Friday, November 12 (setup begins at 7:30 am) and runs through that afternoon until 4:00 pm (tear down). Tables and chairs for each booth will be provided. Exhibitor booths will be 10' x 10'. There are also opportunities to get involved in student contests as volunteers and judges.
